Suggestion box for nepali movies!

Do you have any suggestions for the uplifting of Nepali movie industry? please share them here.

What do you think the nepali movies lack?

they need real spirit in making really a good film own story, Bla bla bla .........and so on

I think they need to follow a bit meaningful storylines apart from the ever green melodrama , same singing and dancing...

they need to make meaning ful movies rather than copied

And ummm...maybe they should make some biopics as well...we have so many national heros I would surely like to watcha movie about them

Put more light and sound effects and put some new stories.

Agreed with you...we are bored with the same stuff time and again...heros n heroines dancing in foreground of phewa lake, flirting in the backdrop of Nagarkot and vilians always have a showdown at chobhar...I think they can use other places preferably Annapurna conservation area and manag mustang area...

The only thing nepali movies need is the audience. Everyone wants to make a good product. but they can't coz there isn't any money in it.

Kagbeni had a good audience despite of it being a new experiment in nepali film scenario
Numafung had a good audience as well....what do you say on this?

There is more to nepal than just the valley.
those movies might have done well in ktm and some other cities. but 90% of movie goers in nepal still hasnt even heard its name. Wat do u think of that??
and i myself havent heard the name of the second film. which one is it??

well, u might be right in saying that Kagbeni had audience from the valley only but does it really matter....Kagbeni made good profit even if few people watched it and that's what really matters , doesn't it? Since they made bucks on it they are likely to make such movies in future as well.... Come on u should have heard about "Numafung" .it was directed by Nabin Subba .it's a tamang movie and I think it won a audience choice award in a foreign film festival somewhere....
