Have you watched the documentary called "Greater Nepal" by Manoj Pandit?
What do you think about the documentary and the issues raised by it? Do you think greater nepal is really possible? What do u think should we do to get our country back? or Do you think it's not worth pursuing the lost territories???Greater Nepal argues that the territories seized by the East India Company in the Treaty of Sugauli, lawfully belongs to Nepal. In 1950, Nepal and Great Britain signed a Friendship Treaty in which it has been categorically mentioned that all treaties signed hitherto between the two countries has been annulled by this treaty. Thus, by this provision in the treaty, the treaty of Sugauli has also been annulled. It claims the lost land should be rightfully returned to Nepal.
The film also documents and raises the issue of deliberate border encroachment by India in several parts of Nepal , particularly in Kalapani, Susta, Pyaratal, Bhadrapur and Kakarbhitta.
