Piracy and torrents : good or bad?

Piracy and torrents : good or bad? what do you think is piracy bad or good for countries like Nepal?

Well, torrent in itself is not a bad or illegal thing. Commonly it is associated with people downloading contents that are copyright-protected but there are many legal torrent sites hosting legitimate contents, which people know little of.

As with piracy, well...we have no option. We just cant afford them. Of course piracy is bad, but what are we to do? They are not selling it cheaper for us. For example: Windows 7 Ultimate costs USD 319.99 from microsoft's store, which equals to 23,935.25 NPR....well that is a lot of money for an OS.

To conclude, both are bad: piracy and torrents(illegal ones). But we have no other choice. Unless our per capita income comes closer to those 'rich' countries, piracy is the way to go!!!
