At the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF), Bob Marshall Fellowships in wilderness management and policy studies are offered to graduate students and faculty engaged in research in recreation resource management; the fellowships are supported by the college's Bob Marshall Endowed Fund.[73] Also at SUNY-ESF, a student "outing club" named after Marshall honors his love of the outdoors and the Adirondack mountains,[74] and a bronze plaque commemorating his contributions to wilderness conservation graces the entrance way of Marshall Hall, the hub of campus events and activities, named after his father.[75]
