How long is this 'moment'? This 'now'? Without resorting to ideas or concepts, can you tell me how long 'now' is?? 1 second , two second, an hour? Infinitesimal. Indeed, any length of 'time' we give to it seems wrong. The moment just goes on spontaneously.
If we were to calculate how long it took to walk home from school, we can start the watch while beginning our walk and stop our watch when we reached home. But how can one calculate the length of now, in such a manner? When does the present become the past?
What could be the shortest time? can there be such a thing? can time be infinitely short? or is time just a mental illusion?
Kant says time and space are modes of perception. Not something existing inherently in reality, but rather some kind of mental construct we use employ to make sense of the world. What do you think?
