Call for Participation
USSHA Foundation in collaboration with Abhiyan Yuva Samuha, Bishankhunarayan is organizing a three days ‘Social Leadership Development Training' on January 23-25, 2009 in Bishankhunarayan, Lalitpur after successfully organizing similar training at Lapsiphedi, Sankhu on November, 2008. The training is envisioned to promote the 'Sustainable and Equitable Social Development Actions' by empowering human resources. It is a practical course to develop socially responsible leaders.
Objectives:
* To provide knowledge and skill to youth about being socially responsible leader.
* To generate an environment of team-work among youth from diverse culture and backgrounds.
Contents:
* Leader, leadership, style of leadership
* Quality, capacity and character of good leader
* Society, social issues and responsibility of social leaders
* Explore personal strength
* Set life time goal and develop personal action plan
* Correlation between personal goal and social goal
* Personality development skills.
Participants:
The participants will be youth studying and working (beginner to expert) in development sector aged between 18-29 years. Altogether, there will be 25 participants from local community and other parts of Nepal.
Training Date: 23-25 January, 2009 (10-12 Magh, 2065)
Application Deadline for applicants: 20 January, 2008 (07 Magh, 2065)
Application Requirements: CV and letter of interest
Venue: Kittachaur, Bishankhunarayan VDC, Lalitpur (near to Godhawari)
Registration Fee: Rs. 1200/- (Rupees Twelve Hundred Only)
(Note: Previous applicants will be given priority)
Registration Fee Covers:
· Travel to and from the training destination and Lalitpur (Lagankhel)
· Food and Accommodation for 3 days and 3 nights of the training
· Stationery required
· First Aid service
· Certification of course completion
· Others, if applicable.
