Why is it so ..... ?

Why is it so that two persons of opposite sex, with same likes and dislikes, same taste, same opinions, same dreams are still not made for each other ?
a)Is it because both of them thinks that they can get another partner with more similarities ?
b)Or is it because both of them think that they have so many similarities so they want a person with other qualities?
There may be other reasons also so please share your views....
