limberfuture wrote:well eveningpolestar, the writer actually never tried to make the novel erotic in any way. And neither was it his intentions.
The subject matter forced him to hint or rather say mention some such parts. I believe, if he hadn't mentioned it, we probably wouldn't have involved ourselves so deeply in the subject matter. What do you say, your opinion please.
yes , hadn't he mentioned those parts the novel wouldn't have got such a broad audience and the hints and erotic parts were necessary in regard to the subject matter of the novel.

just finished reading "One Writer's Beginning" by Eudora Welty ( the same lady who wrote the story "The Worn Path" of Magic of Words book.)...its her auto biography where she describes how the environment she grew up helped to foster the writer within her. A good but a bit boring book....

dan brown's digital fortress is a bit different than his other book .It's the plot becoz the other two books were very much realted with history this one is totally related to cryptology and breaking codes and all and it's very interesting . I found it incredible throughout .
a very good read.

I am reading "Slaughterhouse V " a black humour novel by Kurt Vonnegut
The novel is about the absurdities of war. Usually makes into the top 100 lists.
