I begin with myself...

Currently I m reading :

The Rape of Kuwait: The True Story of Iraqi Atrocities Against a Civilian Population
by Jean P. Sasson

The book is about the illegal invasion of Kuwait by Iraq on August 2 1990. The book deals with the several atrocities committed by the Iraqi military during the invasion. It tells the stories of the first hand victims of the atrocities.

I picked up the book for its intriguing title. And besides I had little idea about the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

Currently I am reading "The Third Twin" by Ken Follett.
I picked the book because I am a die hard fan of Ken Follet. "The Third Twin" is a thriller based on the topic of genetic engineering. A great page-turner that keeps you captivated till the last page.

Just finished "Jackdaws" by Ken Follett.

A marvellous book and a terriffic page turner. A book of unlikely courage of British female agents in the perils of Second World War. Captivates you from the very first page and tension builds up with mounting pressure till the explosive end. One of the few books books of Follett in which I wanted the protagonist to win. Highly recommended!!

Another Ken Follett book I just finished is "Code to Zero"

A man wakes up to find himself lying on the ground in a railway station, his mind stripped bare of all recollection. He has no idea how he got there; he does not even know his own name. Convinced he is a drunken down and out, it isn't until a newspaper report about a satellite launch catches his eye that he suspects all is not what it seems...

"Yet another explosive thriller from the master storyteller. Set in a highly captivating background of the first US satellite launch, this book with with a complicated plot keeps u wondering where the plot is leading to. Whle reading the book I found myself wondering what if I woke up to find myself lying on the street in somewhere of a busy place in Biratnagar or any city of Nepal and I don't remember anything would i find myself home and about me?? May be coz in code to zero Luke does though after much brain rattling.

Just finished

Rising Sun by Michael Crichton

I had picked up the book because I found Michael Crichton's "The Great Train Robbery" thrilling. Rising Sun raised lots of controversy when it was 1st published in 1991 as the book tends to give a suggestive view on Japan-American trade relations. The book has sold more than 10 millions copies to date.I found the book very thrilling and very informative...actually its one of the most informative novels i have read yet. Thrills you , keeps you tensed with suspense and informs you about the trade relationship between Japan and America. The Japanese think "Business is a war." and we all know everything is fair in love and war....

Highly Recommended!
