Nanking is the former capital city of China. The Nanking Massacre, commonly known as the Rape of Nanking, was an infamous war crime committed by the Japanese military in Nanjing, after it fell to the Imperial Japanese Army on December 13, 1937. Though the duration of massacre is not clearly known and details of the atrocities were hidden and suppressed by the Japanese army, it is believed that more than 20,000 women were raped and around 200000 people killed within a period of six weeks. Even today the Japanese Army refuses to reveal accurate account of the crimes committed in the massacre. The massacre is usually termed as one of the worst war crime in human history. I came to know about this while watching a documentary called "Nanking". So I searched the internet and found these photos from the massacre:

A self-organized burial team after the massacre.

A photo first published by Look magazine in 1938. It shows Japanese army recruits at a bayonet drill, practising on Chinese prisoners.

Steet scene in Tokyo. The banners read “To the fall of Nanking”, “To the victory of the Imperial Army”.

Two Japanese officers, Toshiaki Mukai and Iwa Noda, held a competition of beheading Chinese. They killed 211 Chinese in total; one killed 106, the other 105 in their contest.

These photos are from Hora Tomio's book The Great Nanjing Massacre and the Kill All, Loot All, Burn All War. They are stamped by the military censors: "Not Allowed" to be published

all are very divastating photos
it's when I feel to ask where the hell is god
But suddenly I feel that he has left it all to us to correct all this hatred.
The world is ours.
