Nepal has fared poorly in a World Economic Freedom ranking.



Nepal ranks at 128th position, way behind neighboring country India, in the latest global rankings of economic freedom, jointly released Tuesday by independent research organization the Fraser Institute and the CATO Institute.

			<description>2010.... and according to the norms of WTO, Nepal must open up its economy fully. Foreign Direct Investment upto 100 PERCENT allowed. Now, this could lead to a better Nepal .... as it happened in India after India opened up.... in 1991 I think... yeah... after socialism came out of picture and foreign investments were allowed. Nepal has a booming Banking scene (thats what the picture looks till now).... what will happen to this after globalisation hits nepal?
