Sometimes I felt that all the theologies were the offsprings of the saints or great philosophers of times and ages. But sometimes I had a deep belief of their real existence. So what do u people really think of this troubling question?

2010.... and according to the norms of WTO, Nepal must open up its economy fully. Foreign Direct Investment upto 100 PERCENT allowed. Now, this could lead to a better Nepal .... as it happened in India after India opened up.... in 1991 I think... yeah... after socialism came out of picture and foreign investments were allowed. Nepal has a booming Banking scene (thats what the picture looks till now).... what will happen to this after globalisation hits nepal?

NEA plans 15 pc hike in power tariff

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has proposed an increase of electricity tariff by around 15 percent to gradually recover accumulated losses, reduce loss and create fund for hydropower development.

According to a report unveiled during the NEA's 23rd anniversary, NEA incurred a loss of 25.15 percent in the fiscal year 2007-08, which stood at 26.71 percent the previous year.

Recently we have been hearing about and experiencing the growing use of CCTV in schools and colleges...The administration of such institutions justify their actions by saying that use of CCTVs helps to maintain discipline among students, helps in facilitating teaching learning process....but some students and teachers think it as an attack on their freedom...and hence hampers the learning environment ...

Half of the play-ground of a public school very close to Youth Initiative's office in Shantinagar has been covered with grass. NYS invites young volunteers this weekend to help with clearing of the field so that the schoolchildren can use the playground for playing and running again!

This will be an absolutely non-funded service but a great time for new volunteers to know NYS and to enjoy helping the community in a small but a thoughtful way.

Truly saying the education system of Nepal is not enough to meet the practical knowledge which is necessary for the future perspective. The education is the theory based. It is good to see that more and more colleges are being opened but only some of them are known to the good education provider and most of them are for the profit motive. So, the schools and colleges are basically based on money rather in good education. What do you think about this?
